Intro thoughts on Holistic Wealth
For too long, we've been taught that wealth is solely about money – the size of your bank account, the value of your investments, or the assets you own. But what if true wealth encompasses far more than just financial figures? What if it's about the richness of your entire life, reflecting your satisfaction across all domains that truly matter to you?

Hey there, welcome to Let's House More Moola podcast. Just a quick note this week, I am away in the East Coast, doing East Coast things, really appreciating my time flexibility and ability to choose where I work, which has really got me thinking a lot about holistic wealth.
I think that we have all over time increasingly become encouraged to think about the richness of our life all in terms of dollar signs and think about the security or the freedom that we want in our life all about the collection of those dollar signs, the addition to our nest egg or our savings or our real estate portfolio.
And yet, what we know from human history is that really it's our relationships that are quite sustaining. And even though we don't calculate them and put them in a GDP number, they are incredibly important and sustain us and provide for us.
and other aspects of our life that we would say, "sometimes I have more money than ________________. Sometimes I have more money than time. Sometimes I have more money than freedom. Sometimes I have more money than mindfulness or rest or relaxation." This emphasis around productivity and saving and
building up wealth in accounts, in financial institutions takes our attention away from the other ways that we are building really rich lives. So I'm working on a thing and it is a way for us to visualize a more holistic and comprehensive way of viewing the richness, the wealth in our life. So keep an eye out for that coming up soon.
But in the meantime, I am enjoying the richness of my multi-dimensional life and signing off for this week. Make sure you catch me next week. Thanks so much for being along for this ride.
